The hose is engineered to be lighter and more flexible than previous designs, which can make handling easier while spraying under pressure. Its conductive core is designed to support applicable safety requirements, differing from some ground-wire hose constructions. The BlueMax II hose is also designed to reduce coil memory, helping make coiling and uncoiling more manageable. In addition, plated spring guards are used to help improve resistance to corrosion.
